Teaching

FRIEDA VAN DE POLL

TEACHING

This is a course for all levels. We work with (unclothed) female and male models, always starting with a warming-up exercise and quick poses. Focussing on topics like balance, proportions, foreshortening etc., we practise drawing techniques and experiment with various media, such as ink, acrylics, watercolours.

A long pose of 45 min provides opportunity to create a finished drawing, choosing from a range of different papers and materials at hand.

Frieda gives individual guidance during the session. She is a studio holder at Coventry Artspace, and a qualified teacher in Higher Education with extended experience in teaching. Coventry University, Adult Education Services, Pilgrims Teacher Training.

She also offers help with portfolio building and preparing for university interviews.
